How to Charge Safely
Use a proper external charger made for 18650 cells, and never charge unattended or overnight. Do not mix old and new cells, or cells of different brands, in one device.
How to Store and Carry Cells
Always carry cells in a plastic case, never loose in a pocket with keys or coins. Keep them out of heat and away from children.
Spot Damage and Choose a Cell
Stop using any cell with a torn wrap, dents or swelling. Choose a cell with a current rating that suits your device, and read the maker data. Browse the battery category and the pods and coils buying guide for more.

Reading a Cell Rating
A cell has two numbers that matter: capacity in mAh, which is how long it runs, and a continuous discharge rating in amps, which is how much current it can safely supply. Choose a cell with a discharge rating that suits your device, and read the maker data. A higher mAh number does not make a cell safer. Never use a cell that is not rated for your device.
Wraps and Damage
The thin wrap on a cell is an insulator. If it is torn, stop using the cell. Do not use a cell that is dented, swollen, hot while idle or leaking. Replace damaged cells instead of trying to repair them at home.
Charging Habits
Use a charger made for 18650 cells and check the contacts are clean. Do not charge on a bed or sofa, do not leave charging cells unattended, and take the cell out when it is full. Do not mix old and new cells in one device.
Disposal
Do not put cells in household waste or burn them. Take old or damaged cells to a battery recycling point. Tape the ends of a damaged cell before you carry it. See the Dubai delivery page if you want replacements delivered.
UAE Rules and Delivery
Vaping products sold in the UAE must meet UAE.S 5030:2018 and carry ECAS certification through MoIAT. Rules can change, so rely on the regulator rather than any retailer page. We sell to adults aged 21 and over only, and UAE law may set higher requirements. Delivery in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman takes about two hours, depending on traffic, and other emirates go by courier within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday. Delivery is free over AED 350 and the minimum order is AED 100. See our delivery and payment page and age verification page.
