HQD Glaze Plus 12000 review: quick verdict and who it suits
The Glaze Plus has a dual mesh coil, a 650mAh rechargeable battery and Type-C charging. The listing describes a Regular Mode and a Cooling Mode, an Ice Boost button for an extra cold effect and a cooling oil chamber.
It is sold in one strength, 50mg (5 percent) nicotine, which is high and is the most important thing to understand before buying. At AED 49 it costs more than the Isgo Bar 10000.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you are an adult nicotine user who already uses high-strength products, wants a mid-size rechargeable disposable and likes an adjustable cooling effect.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you do not already use nicotine, if you want a lighter strength, or if you want to know the liquid volume, since the listing does not give it. The Isgo Bar 10000 lists 17ml at AED 40.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives these details. The maker puff figure is 12,000. Nicotine is 50mg, the battery is 650mAh and rechargeable, and charging is Type-C. The coil is dual mesh. The e-liquid volume is listed as not specified.
The listing describes switching between Regular Mode and Cooling Mode and an Ice Boost button that adds an extra cold effect, with a cooling oil chamber. It does not give a charge time or explain how the modes are switched. Its ten flavours are Black Ice, Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Fresh Berries, Grape, Ice Mint, Lush Ice, Mango, Strawberry Banana and Triple Berry. It is offered as one piece or a full box of 10. The puff count is a maker figure, not a measurement.
HQD Glaze Plus 12000 review: nicotine strength and cooling modes
Nicotine salt gives a smoother throat hit than freebase at the same strength, which is why a 50mg salt can feel mild while still delivering a large dose. 50mg is a high strength, and nicotine is addictive. Cooling changes the feel of the vapour, not the nicotine content.
What does the Ice Boost button do?
The listing says the Ice Boost button adds an extra cold effect when you want a stronger chill. It does not say how long the effect lasts or whether it affects battery life. Our guide to choosing replacement coils and pods helps if you are weighing a refillable device instead.
Coil, battery and everyday use
A dual mesh coil is designed to spread the heat and give steady flavour as the liquid level drops. A 650mAh battery is smaller than the 850mAh cells in several devices we compare, and the listing gives no charge time.
A disposable holds a lithium battery and a large amount of liquid. When it is finished, dispose of it with care, keep it away from heat and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
How it compares with other disposables
The table compares this device with three other disposables we list, using only figures from their listings.
| Disposable | Puffs (maker claim) | Nicotine | Battery | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HQD Glaze Plus 12000 (this review) | 12,000 | 50mg | 650mAh, Type-C | 49 |
| Isgo Bar 10000 | 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 650mAh, USB-C | 40 |
| Waka Sopro 10000 | Up to 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 850mAh, USB-C | 45 |
| Waka Nova 12000 | About 12,000 | 18mg (1.8%) | 850mAh, Type-C | 45 |

UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This product contains nicotine, which is addictive. Rules on nicotine strength, flavours and device size for disposable products have changed over time and we cannot confirm every strength here. It is sold only in 50mg (5 percent), a high nicotine level, so confirm it is permitted before ordering. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price and value in AED (checked 15 October 2026)
The HQD Glaze Plus 12000 is listed at AED 49 for one piece and AED 450 for a full box of 10 devices. We checked both prices on the product page on 15 October 2026. Prices and stock can change, so the listing is the final word. This review is based on the listing and we have not tested the device ourselves.
At AED 49 the Glaze Plus costs more than the Isgo Bar 10000 at AED 40, the Waka Sopro 10000 at AED 45 and the Waka Nova 12000 at AED 45, as the comparison table shows. The listing gives it features the others do not mention, namely Regular and Cooling modes, an Ice Boost button and a smart LED screen, so the higher price buys a different feature set and not simply more puffs.
Single device versus full box of 10
The full box of 10 costs AED 450, which is AED 45 a device. That saves AED 4 per device and AED 40 across the box compared with ten singles at AED 490. For one person the box is a large purchase, so a single piece is the sensible way to try a flavour. The box suits a buyer who already knows the flavour and wants to place one order.
On value, a single at AED 49 against the maker claim of 12,000 puffs works out at about AED 4.08 per 1,000 claimed puffs. A box at AED 45 a device works out at about AED 3.75. For comparison, the Isgo Bar 10000 comes to AED 4.00 and the Waka Nova 12000 to AED 3.75 on the same arithmetic. These are calculations on maker figures and not measured results.
Delivery terms and minimum order
The minimum order is AED 100. A single Glaze Plus at AED 49 falls below it, and so do two singles at AED 98. Three singles at AED 147 pass it. Delivery is free above AED 350 and a flat AED 30 below that. Eight singles come to AED 392 and ship free, while the full box at AED 450 also ships free.
Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman orders are delivered in about 2 hours, between 10am and 11pm, 7 days a week, with payment by cash, card or bank transfer. Other emirates are served by courier within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with cash on delivery or bank transfer. See our delivery and payment terms for the full wording.
Who it suits and who should skip it
This section sticks to what the listing says. The Glaze Plus is a rechargeable disposable with a dual mesh coil, a 650mAh battery, Type-C charging, a cooling oil chamber, Regular and Cooling modes, an Ice Boost button and a smart LED screen. It is sold only at 50mg nicotine.
It may suit you if
You are an adult who already uses nicotine at a high strength. You like a cold finish and want to switch between a regular and a cooling mode instead of having one fixed profile. You want a screen that shows puff count, battery level and oil level, as the listing describes. You are happy with a compact rechargeable device.
You should skip it if
You do not use nicotine, because 50mg is a high strength and nicotine is addictive. You want a lower strength, because this model has no lower option. You need to know the liquid volume, because the listing says it is not specified. You want a refillable device, because the listing says it is not refillable. You want a larger battery, since 650mAh is smaller than the 850mAh listed on the Waka Sopro 10000 and Waka Nova 12000.
If you want a published liquid volume, the Isgo Bar 10000 lists 17ml, and our Isgo Bar 10000 review covers it in the same format.
Flavours, format and running costs
This section gathers the choices you make at checkout and what each one costs, using the listing and the figures already in this review.
The ten flavours
The variation list offers Black Ice, Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Fresh Berries, Grape, Ice Mint, Lush Ice, Mango, Strawberry Banana and Triple Berry. The product description gives short notes for eight of them. Blueberry is described as sweet and slightly tangy, Grape as classic and juicy, Lush Ice as watermelon with a cool finish, Mango as sweet and tropical, Strawberry Banana as a creamy mix, Triple Berry as a blend of three berry notes, Black Ice as dark mixed berries with a cold edge and Blackcurrant as strong and tangy. Fresh Berries and Ice Mint have no description on the page.
Single piece or full box of 10
A single piece is the low-commitment way to try one flavour. The full box of 10 lowers the price to AED 45 a device and clears both the AED 100 minimum order and the AED 350 free delivery line on its own. Check that the flavour and format you want are both available before you add them to the basket, and read the price in the basket before you pay.
What the puff claim means for running cost
The maker figure is 12,000 puffs. At AED 49 that is roughly 0.4 fils per claimed puff, or about AED 0.41 per 100 puffs. Real use will differ with how you draw, whether you use the cooling mode and how the device is stored, so treat the figure as a way to compare listings and not as a promise.
The listing says the device recharges through Type-C and is not refillable. A rechargeable battery lets you use up the liquid, but the listing gives no charge time. When the device is finished, dispose of it with care and keep it away from heat.
What to check on the page before you order
Before you pay, read the product page from top to bottom. Confirm the nicotine strength is the one you intend to buy, because the Glaze Plus is listed only at 50mg. Confirm the flavour, the format and the basket price. Look for the details this review flags as missing, namely the liquid volume and the charge time, and ask our team if either matters to you.
Standards and conformity
Electronic nicotine products in the UAE are covered by the standard UAE.S 5030:2018, and conformity is handled through the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS). The listing text we reviewed includes broad statements that the device complies with UAE rules, but it does not quote a standard number or a certificate, so we have not treated those statements as verified. Ask for confirmation before ordering and check the current position with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology at moiat.gov.ae.
Age and responsible use
We sell only to adults aged 21 and over, and you can read how we handle this on our 21+ age verification page. UAE law may set higher requirements in some situations, so check the rules that apply to you. Nicotine is addictive, so do not start if you do not already use it, and keep devices away from children and pets.

Price, delivery and final verdict
The listed price is AED 49, and the listing also offers a full box of 10. Prices and stock can change, so check the HQD Glaze Plus 12000 listing for the current figure.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Regular and Cooling modes with an Ice Boost button | Single strength only, 50mg |
| Dual mesh coil and Type-C charging | Liquid volume not stated |
| Ten flavours listed | Smaller 650mAh battery, no charge time |
| Cooling oil chamber | Puff figure is a maker claim, not a test |
Our verdict: the Glaze Plus 12000 suits adult nicotine users who want a mid-size rechargeable disposable with a cooling mode and an Ice Boost button and who understand what 50mg means. The listing leaves out the liquid volume. If you are new to nicotine, do not start.
