Tugboat T12000 review: quick verdict and who it suits
The T12000 has a mesh coil, Type-C fast charging, draw activation and an MTL airflow, which means a tighter, mouth-to-lung style draw.
It is sold in one strength, 50mg (5 percent) nicotine salt, which is high and is the most important thing to understand before buying. At AED 35 it is the lowest-priced device in our comparison.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you are an adult nicotine user who already uses high-strength products, wants a simple rechargeable disposable at a low price and likes a long flavour list.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you do not already use nicotine, if you want a lighter strength, or if you want to know the battery and liquid size, since the listing gives neither. The Waka Sopro 10000 lists an 850mAh battery and 18ml tank.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives these details. The maker puff figure is up to 12,000. Nicotine is 50mg (5 percent) nicotine salt, the battery is described as a high-capacity rechargeable battery, and charging is Type-C fast charging. The coil is a mesh coil, activation is by drawing, and airflow is described as optimised MTL.
The listing does not give the battery size in mAh, the liquid volume in ml or a charge time. It describes the reservoir only as large and long-lasting. It lists 16 flavours, including Black Mamba, Blackcurrant Lychee, Cool Mint, Cotton Candy, Grape, Lush Ice, Purple Rain, Shisha and Watermelon Bubblegum. It is offered as one piece or a box of 10. The puff count is a maker figure, not a measurement.
Tugboat T12000 review: nicotine strength and airflow
Nicotine salt gives a smoother throat hit than freebase at the same strength, which is why a 50mg salt can feel mild while still delivering a large dose. 50mg is a high strength, and nicotine is addictive.
What does MTL airflow mean?
MTL stands for mouth to lung. You draw into your mouth first and then inhale, which is closer to how a cigarette is smoked. It usually means a tighter draw than lung-style devices. Our guide to choosing replacement coils and pods helps if you are weighing a refillable device instead.
Coil, battery and everyday use
A mesh coil is designed to give dense vapour and steady flavour as the liquid level drops. Without a mAh figure or liquid volume you cannot judge how long a charge or the liquid will last.
A disposable holds a lithium battery and a large amount of liquid. When it is finished, dispose of it with care, keep it away from heat and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
How it compares with other disposables
The table compares this device with three other disposables we list, using only figures from their listings.
| Disposable | Puffs (maker claim) | Nicotine | Battery | Price (AED) |

UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This product contains nicotine, which is addictive. Rules on nicotine strength, flavours and device size for disposable products have changed over time and we cannot confirm every strength here. It is sold only in 50mg (5 percent), a high nicotine level, so confirm it is permitted before ordering. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price and value in AED (checked 15 October 2026)
When we checked on 15 October 2026, the Tugboat T12000 listing showed AED 35 for one piece and AED 300 for a box of 10, with the same prices across all 16 flavours. Prices and stock can change, so treat these figures as a snapshot rather than a promise. Everything below uses only those listed prices and the maker rating of up to 12,000 puffs, which is a claim on the listing and not something we measured.
The per-unit math is simple. One piece at AED 35 works out to about AED 2.92 for every 1,000 claimed puffs (35 divided by 12). The box of 10 at AED 300 is AED 30 a device, which saves AED 5 per device or AED 50 across the box compared with buying ten single pieces, and it brings the claimed cost down to about AED 2.50 per 1,000 puffs.
Using the same method on the comparison table above, the Waka Sopro 10000 at AED 45 comes to AED 4.50 per 1,000 claimed puffs, the Isgo Bar 10000 at AED 40 comes to AED 4.00, and the Waka Nova 12000 at AED 45 comes to about AED 3.75. On paper the T12000 is the cheapest of the four for each claimed puff. That only holds if a device reaches its rated count, which depends on how you draw, and nothing on the listing guarantees it.
Price per puff also ignores nicotine strength, battery size and flavour. The Waka Nova lists 18mg while the T12000 is 50mg only, so the two are not a like-for-like swap. Use the figure to compare cost, not to decide which device is right for you.
Delivery terms and minimum order
The minimum order is AED 100. A single T12000 at AED 35 is below that, so you would need three pieces (AED 105) to qualify, while a box of 10 clears it on its own. Delivery is free above AED 350 and a flat AED 30 below that. The box of 10 at AED 300 sits under the free-delivery line, so AED 30 delivery applies and the total is AED 330, or AED 33 a device. Ten single pieces come to exactly AED 350, which equals the threshold rather than exceeding it, so check the delivery line at checkout before assuming it is free.
Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman orders arrive in about 2 hours between 10am and 11pm, 7 days a week, and you can pay by cash, card or bank transfer. Other emirates are served by courier within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with cash on delivery or bank transfer. The full terms are on our delivery and payment terms page.
Who it suits and who should skip it
This section sticks to what the listing states. The listing describes a compact box-style device with an ergonomic grip, a mesh coil, optimised MTL airflow, draw activation, Type-C fast charging and a zero-maintenance, no-refill design. It is sold in 50mg (5 percent) nicotine salt only.
It suits adults aged 21 and over who already use nicotine at a high strength, prefer a tighter mouth-to-lung draw, want a pocket-sized rechargeable disposable and like to pick from a long flavour list. It also suits shoppers watching the price, since AED 35 is the lowest figure in our comparison table.
Skip it if you do not currently use nicotine. The listing itself says it is not suitable for beginners and that 50mg is for experienced users. Skip it if you want a lower strength, because there is no other strength on the page, and skip it if you want a refillable device, because the listing says it is not refillable. Anyone who needs a stated battery size or liquid volume should look at a device that lists them, since this listing gives a high-capacity battery and a large reservoir without numbers.
Flavours, format and running costs
The flavour range, the two pack formats and the cost of using the device over time all affect whether the listed price is good value for you. The notes below come from the listing and from the figures in this post.
The 16-flavour range
The listing offers 16 flavours: Black Mamba, Blackcurrant Lychee, Cool Mint, Cotton Candy, Grape, Guava Blue Razz, Lush Ice, Mango Melon, Mango Passion Fruit, Purple Rain, Red Energy, Shisha, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry Mango, VCT and Watermelon Bubblegum. Fruit blends make up most of the list, with a mint, an iced option, a candy option and an energy-drink style name for variety. The listing gives no tasting notes for these, so any description of how they taste would be a guess. The earlier section of this review names only some of them; the full list is above.
One piece or a box of 10
Each flavour is listed as a single piece at AED 35 or as a box of 10 at AED 300. In the box variation you choose the flavour on the page, and the listing does not describe a mixed box, so select the flavour before adding to cart and check the cart line. A box makes sense if you have already settled on a flavour and strength, because it saves AED 5 per device and clears the AED 100 minimum order in one go.
Running costs over time
The listing says the device lasts several days to weeks depending on use, which is a maker-style estimate and not a measurement. As an illustration only, if you went through one device a week, you would spend AED 35 a week on single pieces or AED 30 a week on box pricing before delivery. Your own use may be faster or slower. There is nothing to refill and no coil to change, so the device cost is the main running cost, apart from a Type-C cable for charging, which the listing does not say is included.
A lithium battery sits inside every rechargeable disposable, so store the device away from heat and children, charge it with a suitable Type-C cable and dispose of it responsibly when it is finished. What to check on the page before you order
Before you add the T12000 to your cart, confirm four things on the product page: the flavour you selected, whether you chose one piece or the box of 10, the price shown for that variation, and the nicotine strength, which is 50mg (5 percent) on every variation. Prices and stock can change, so the page is the final word and this post is a guide.
Electronic nicotine products in the UAE are covered by the technical standard UAE.S 5030:2018 and the ECAS conformity scheme, and the listing does not show a standard or registration number for this device. Do not assume compliance from a blog post. Check the packaging and ask us if you want to see the details, and confirm current requirements directly with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). Our guide to spotting an original vape in Dubai explains what to look for on a pack.
We sell only to adults aged 21 and over, and you can read how we handle this on our 21+ age verification page. UAE law may set higher requirements for some people, so do not order if you are under the age that applies to you. Nicotine is addictive, and this post is not medical or legal advice.

Price, delivery and final verdict
The listed price is AED 35. Prices and stock can change, so check the Tugboat T12000 listing for the current figure.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Lowest price in our comparison | Single strength only, 50mg |
| MTL airflow and mesh coil | Battery size and liquid volume not stated |
| 16 flavours listed | No charge time in the listing |
| Type-C fast charging | Puff figure is a maker claim, not a test |
Our verdict: the T12000 suits adult nicotine users who want a simple low-priced rechargeable disposable with a tighter MTL draw and a long flavour list and who understand what 50mg means. The listing leaves the battery size and liquid volume out. If you are new to nicotine, do not start.
