Voopoo Argus P2 review: quick verdict and who it suits
The Argus P2 is a compact pod kit with a screen and adjustable power, for adults who want to see and change their settings. The listing says it handles both mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung draws.
The newer Argus P3 has a larger battery for the same price, so read the Argus P3 review alongside this one. For a higher-power option, see the Argus Pro review.
Who should buy it
Buy the Argus P2 if you want a screen, fast Type-C charging and a choice of 0.4, 0.7 and 1.2 ohm mesh pods in a small body.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you want the biggest battery for the money, because the P3 is listed at the same price with more capacity. Also skip it if you want higher power.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives the following for this Voopoo Argus P2 review: a 1200mAh built-in battery, 5 to 30W power output, 2ml and 3ml Argus Pod V2 pods in 0.4, 0.7 and 1.2 ohm mesh, the GENE.AI chipset, a 0.69-inch OLED display, auto-draw plus button activation, adjustable airflow and Type-C 2A charging.
The listing says the P2 delivers intelligent wattage adjustment and several vaping modes. It lists five colours, which change with stock.
Voopoo Argus P2 power, battery and draw
Power runs from 5 to 30W on the GENE.AI chip, and the OLED shows wattage, battery and puff data. 1200mAh suits a moderate user through a day.
Pods and coils
Argus Pod V2 pods come as mesh coils in 0.4, 0.7 and 1.2 ohm. Pick the 1.2 ohm for a tighter nicotine-salt draw and the 0.4 ohm for a looser one, and check the pod listing for the fit.
Everyday use and upkeep
You can fire by inhaling or pressing the button, and the screen makes it easy to check settings. The airflow is adjustable for a tighter or looser draw.
Charge with USB Type-C, avoid parked cars in Dubai heat and let a new pod soak before use. Do not overfill.
How it compares with similar kits
The table compares the Argus P2 with three other Voopoo kits we list, using figures from the product titles and listings.
| Kit | Power | Battery | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Voopoo Argus P2 | 5-30W | 1200mAh | AED 120 |
| Voopoo Argus P3 | 30W | 1500mAh | AED 120 |
| Voopoo Vrizz 2 | 30W | 1350mAh | AED 110 |
| Voopoo Argus Pro | Up to 80W | 3000mAh | AED 150 |
The Argus P3 and Vrizz 2 both have larger batteries for the same price or less. The Argus Pro costs AED 30 more for far more power and battery.
UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This is a refillable kit, so the nicotine strength depends on the liquid. Buy only from a licensed seller and keep the receipt. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price, delivery and final verdict
The Argus P2 is listed at AED 120. Prices and stock change, so check the product page before you order.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| OLED screen and adjustable 5-30W power | 1200mAh is smaller than the P3 |
| 0.4, 0.7 and 1.2 ohm pod choices | Pods have integrated coils |
| Type-C 2A fast charging | Same price as the P3 |
| Auto-draw or button firing | Not for high-power use |
Our verdict: the Voopoo Argus P2 is a solid screen kit, but the Argus P3 is the better buy on battery size at the same price.
