Waka Nova 12000 review: quick verdict and who it suits
The Nova has a 12ml prefilled tank of nicotine salt liquid, an 850mAh rechargeable battery, Type-C fast charging and a mesh coil.
Its strength is 18mg (1.8 percent), far lower than the 50mg Waka Sopro and Blade devices. At AED 45 it costs the same as the Sopro 10000.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you are an adult nicotine user who prefers a lower strength, wants a mid-size rechargeable disposable and likes a varied flavour list that includes Iced Mocha and Vanilla Custard Tobacco.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you do not already use nicotine, or if you want a high strength or a very large puff rating. The Waka Sopro 10000 lists 50mg at the same price.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives these details. The maker puff figure is about 12,000 and the e-liquid is 12ml of nicotine salt. Nicotine is 18mg (1.8 percent), the battery is 850mAh and rechargeable, charging is Type-C fast charging and the coil is a mesh coil.
The listing does not give a charge time or describe any modes or display. Its ten flavours are Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry, Grape, Iced Mocha, Lemon Sparkle Ice, Mango Peach, Menthol Plus, Sea Salt Lemon, Vanilla Custard Tobacco and Watermelon. It is offered as one piece or a box of 10. The puff count is a maker figure, not a measurement.
Waka Nova 12000 review: nicotine strength and strength
At 18mg (1.8 percent), this is a much lower nicotine strength than most high-puff disposables we list, which sit at 50mg. A lower strength is not risk-free, and nicotine is addictive at any level.
Is 18mg the same as 2 percent?
The listing calls 18mg 1.8 percent. Other devices we list at 20mg are called 2 percent, so the two are close but not identical. Check the label on the device you receive. Our guide to choosing replacement coils and pods helps if you are weighing a refillable device instead.
Coil, battery and everyday use
A mesh coil is designed to give dense vapour and steady flavour as the liquid level drops. An 850mAh battery with fast charging keeps downtime short, though the listing gives no charge time.
A disposable holds a lithium battery and a large amount of liquid. When it is finished, dispose of it with care, keep it away from heat and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
How it compares with other disposables
The table compares this device with three other disposables we list, using only figures from their listings.
| Disposable | Puffs (maker claim) | Nicotine | Battery | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waka Nova 12000 (this review) | About 12,000 | 18mg (1.8%) | 850mAh, Type-C | 45 |
| Waka Sopro 10000 | Up to 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 850mAh, USB-C | 45 |
| Hayati Pro Ultra 15000 | 15,000 | 20mg (2%) | 850mAh, USB-C | 49 |
| Isgo Bar 10000 | 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 650mAh, USB-C | 40 |

UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This product contains nicotine, which is addictive. Rules on nicotine strength, flavours and device size for disposable products have changed over time and we cannot confirm every strength here. It is sold in 18mg (1.8 percent), so confirm it is permitted before ordering. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price and value in AED (checked 15 October 2026)
On 15 October 2026 the Waka Nova 12000 listing shows AED 45 for a single piece (the 1 pc pack) and AED 400 for the box of 10. The listing prices every one of the ten flavours the same, so you are not paying extra for Iced Mocha or Vanilla Custard Tobacco compared with Watermelon or Grape.
The listing gives enough data for simple per-unit maths. The box of 10 at AED 400 works out at AED 40 a device, which is AED 5 less than the AED 45 single price, or AED 50 less than buying ten singles at AED 450. If you take the maker figure of about 12,000 puffs at face value, AED 45 is roughly AED 3.75 per 1,000 puffs and AED 40 is roughly AED 3.33 per 1,000 puffs. Treat those as a rough guide only, because real puff counts depend on how you use the device and the figure is a maker claim, not something we have measured.
Delivery terms are on the delivery and payment terms page. The minimum order is AED 100, so a single AED 45 device will not check out on its own. Orders above AED 350 ship free, and orders below that carry a flat AED 30 delivery fee. A box of 10 at AED 400 clears the free delivery line by itself. Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman orders arrive in about 2 hours between 10am and 11pm, 7 days a week, and you can pay by cash, card or bank transfer. Other emirates are served by courier within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with cash on delivery or bank transfer.
Who it suits and who should skip it
This section pulls the earlier points together using only what the listing states. The Nova is a rechargeable disposable with a 12ml nicotine salt tank, an 850mAh battery, Type-C charging and a mesh coil. It is sold at 18mg (1.8 percent), one strength only, in ten flavours.
It suits you if
You are an adult nicotine user who wants a lower strength than the 50mg devices that dominate the high-puff range. You also want a mid-size puff rating rather than a 30,000 or 50,000 puff device, you like a broad flavour list that mixes fruit, menthol, coffee and tobacco, and you would rather buy a single piece or a box of 10 than commit to a larger format. The AED 45 price sits level with the Waka Sopro 10000 in our comparison table above.
You should skip it if
You do not already use nicotine, because nicotine is addictive at any strength and we do not encourage anyone to start. Skip it too if you want a high-strength device (the listing says 18mg only), if you want the largest puff rating we list, or if you need the listing to spell out a charge time, which it does not. Buyers who care about disposable waste may also prefer a refillable device, a point the product page itself lists as a con.
Waka Nova 12000 flavours and format
Ten flavours are listed, and the product page describes each one in a line. They fall into three loose groups, which may help if you are choosing a single piece to try before ordering a box.
Fruit and sweet flavours
Cherry is described as sweet and slightly tart, Watermelon as juicy and naturally sweet, Mango Peach as a balance of ripe mango and soft peach, and Grape as deep and bold with candy-like sweetness. Blueberry Sour Raspberry is listed as a tangy mix with a sweet-and-sour kick.
Cool, citrus and menthol flavours
Sea Salt Lemon is a citrus blend with a salty twist, Lemon Sparkle Ice is described as zesty and fizzy with an icy exhale, and Menthol Plus is listed as crisp, cool menthol with a refreshing icy throat hit. These are the three to look at if you dislike dessert-style sweetness.
Dessert, coffee and tobacco flavours
Iced Mocha is described as rich coffee with chocolate undertones and a cool finish, and Vanilla Custard Tobacco as creamy vanilla custard over classic tobacco notes. They are the two least fruity choices on the list.
On format, the full product description adds that the Nova is draw-activated, so there are no buttons to press, and that it has a puff counter and usage tracking. This goes a step beyond the short specification paragraph earlier in this review, which noted that the listing gives no modes or display. Neither the post nor the listing gives dimensions or weight, so we do not quote any.
Running costs and how long a Nova may last
A disposable has no coils or pods to replace, so the running cost is the device price. At AED 45 a piece, how long it lasts depends on you. The listing says the Nova offers up to roughly 12,000 puffs from 12ml of liquid, and a puff counter lets you track your own use. Someone who takes fewer puffs a day will get more days from one device. We give no day count because the listing does not and we have not run a test.
Because the battery is rechargeable, you can top it up through the Type-C port rather than switching devices when the battery runs low. The listing states that the 850mAh battery with fast charging is meant to let you use the whole 12ml of liquid. Charging time is not stated, so do not plan around a specific figure. When the liquid is gone, the device is finished: dispose of it with care and do not leave a lithium battery in the heat.
If cost per device is your main concern, the box of 10 at AED 400 is the cheaper route per unit and clears the free delivery threshold. A box only makes sense if you are certain you like the flavour, since the box variations are priced and chosen per flavour. If you are unsure, buy one piece and bring your order up to the AED 100 minimum with other items.
What to check on the page before you order
Before you pay, check these points on the product page. First, confirm the flavour and the pack size, because the single piece and the box of 10 are separate options at different prices. Second, confirm the nicotine strength shown matches 18mg (1.8 percent) and that you are comfortable with it. Third, check the current price and stock, since both can change.
Fourth, look at the compliance details. Electronic nicotine products in the UAE are covered by the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard and the ECAS conformity scheme, and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology publishes current information on its site at MoIAT. We cannot confirm every strength or device size against current rules in a blog post, so use MoIAT as the reference point and ask us if you are unsure. Our guide on how to spot an original vape in Dubai lists what to look for on the packaging when your order arrives.
Finally, this is an adults-only product. Our store sells only to buyers aged 21 and over, and UAE law may set a higher age. Read our 21+ age verification page for how we handle this.

Price, delivery and final verdict

| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Lower 18mg strength | Few features listed |
| 850mAh battery with Type-C | No charge time in the listing |
| Ten varied flavours | Lower puff figure than the larger devices |
| 12ml nicotine salt tank | Puff figure is a maker claim, not a test |
Our verdict: the Nova 12000 suits adult nicotine users who want a lower strength in a mid-size rechargeable disposable. The listing is short on features and gives no charge time. If you are new to nicotine, do not start.
