Overview
This Geekvape Wenax and Aegis review compares the two pod kit families we stock most from Geekvape in the UAE. Wenax kits are the small, light, mostly entry-priced pods, while Aegis kits are the larger, tougher devices with bigger batteries and, on some models, much higher power. Together they cover about 30 listings from AED 75 to AED 270. The guide sets out how they differ, which model suits which user and what to check before ordering in Dubai. It relies on the product listings on this site, not on lab testing.

Geekvape Wenax and Aegis review: quick verdict and who it suits
Wenax is the better fit for most first-time pod buyers. The Wenax Q Kit lists 25W and 1000mAh at AED 95, and the Wenax M1 lists 800mAh at AED 85, so both are cheap and pocketable. Aegis is the pick if you want a rugged device and a larger battery, at a higher price.
Aegis Hero 5 lists up to 50W and 2000mAh at AED 170, and Aegis One lists 780mAh at AED 120, so the Aegis name covers very different devices. Our individual notes are in the Wenax Q Kit review and the Aegis Hero 5 review.
Who should buy it
Buy Wenax if you want a light, low-cost kit to move from disposables, and buy Aegis if you carry your device outdoors, want a bigger battery, or like a more durable build. Both families have pods available in our store.
Who should skip it
Skip Aegis Hero 5 or Touch T200 if you only want the cheapest possible start, since those sit at AED 170 and AED 270. Skip Wenax if you want long battery life, because the small models list 600 to 1000mAh.
Wenax and Aegis kits we stock and what the listings say
For this Geekvape Wenax and Aegis review, The table compares seven kits across both families using figures from the product titles. A dash means the title does not give that figure, so open the listing for it.
| Kit | Power and battery (from title) | Family | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wenax Q Kit | 25W, 1000mAh | Wenax | AED 95 |
| Wenax M1 | 800mAh | Wenax | AED 85 |
| Wenax K2 | 1000mAh, 2ml | Wenax | AED 100 |
| Sonder Q Kit | 20W, 1000mAh | Sonder (Wenax-style) | AED 85 |
| Aegis Hero 5 | Up to 50W, 2000mAh | Aegis | AED 170 |
| Aegis One | 780mAh | Aegis | AED 120 |
| Aegis Touch T200 | Not stated in title | Aegis, touch screen | AED 270 |
The split is clear in the numbers. Wenax and Sonder sit at AED 85 to AED 100 with 600 to 1000mAh, while Aegis spans AED 120 to AED 270 and reaches 2000mAh and 50W on the Hero 5. See the full range on the Geekvape brand page
How the Wenax and Aegis families are organised
Wenax is the pocket family: M-series (M1, M2), K-series (K1, K2), Q-series (Q, Q Mini, Q Pro, Q2, Q Ultra), plus S3, H1 and U. Aegis is the tougher family: One, Hero 5, Hero Q, Touch T200, and larger mod-style kits such as Solo 3, Legend 5, Max100 and M100 Aegis Mini 2. We also stock Sonder and H45 kits that sit between the two.
Match pods and coils to your kit
Pods and coils differ by model, so match them carefully. We have specific write-ups on the Wenax M1 pods, the U pods and the Q pods, and each listing states which kits its pods fit.
Power, battery and draw style: small Wenax versus rugged Aegis
The small Wenax kits are made for a tight, mouth-to-lung draw at modest power, which is why their batteries are 600 to 1200mAh. The Aegis Hero 5 raises both power and battery, and the larger Aegis mod kits go well beyond that, up to 200W on the Legend 5 and 100W on the Solo 3 and Max100.
Bigger numbers are not automatically better. A 50W device with the wrong pod can taste harsh, and a small Wenax can taste better for a user who only vapes a few times a day. Pick the family by how you vape, then pick the model by battery.
Pods, coils and everyday use
Both families need pods or coils replaced over time, and Aegis devices are marketed as tri-proof, meaning built to resist water, dust and shock. That helps outdoors but does not replace sensible care, so keep the port dry and avoid leaving the kit in extreme heat.
For coil-based Aegis devices see our guides to Aegis B series coils and Super Mesh coils. For quick starts, the Sonder Q review covers the cheapest entry in the range.
UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). Higher-power kits such as the Aegis range also use coils and liquids that carry nicotine, so buy from a licensed seller and keep the packaging. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price, delivery and final verdict
Wenax and Sonder kits cost AED 75 to AED 140 here, Aegis One and Hero Q are around AED 105 to AED 120, Hero 5 is AED 170, and Touch T200 is AED 270. Stock and prices change, so check the product page first.
| Pros | Cons |

| Wenax kits are low-cost and pocketable | Small batteries on the entry models |
