OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra review: quick verdict and who it suits
The Xlim 3 Ultra is the touch-screen flagship of the Xlim range we list. The listing says you can slide to switch the draw from MTL to RDL and choose from several themes.
It costs AED 10 more than the Xlim Pro 3 for a bigger, touch-driven screen and a different chipset.
Who should buy it
Buy the Xlim 3 Ultra if you want a touch interface, themes and smart variable wattage in a pod kit.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you only want a simple, reliable kit, because the Pro 3 offers the same battery and power for less. A touch screen is also one more part that can scratch.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives the following for this OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra review: output up to 30W, a built-in 1500mAh battery, 5V/2A Type-C charging, a 2.2-inch HD full touch screen with multiple themes and animations, the Super Pulse System chipset with UniTech 2.0, a smart variable wattage mode, compatibility with Xlim V3 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods, auto-draw and button activation and adjustable airflow.
The listing says the draw style can be changed by sliding between MTL and RDL, and that the kit suits freebase and nicotine salt liquids. It lists several colours, which change with stock.
OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra power, battery and draw
Power is adjustable up to 30W, with a smart variable wattage mode that the listing says helps flavour. A 1500mAh battery matches the Pro 3.
Pods and coils
The kit uses Xlim V3 pods in 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm. Check the pod listing for the fit before you order spares.
Everyday use and upkeep
Use the touch screen to switch themes and settings, and use the airflow control to change the draw.
Charge with USB-C, avoid parked cars in Dubai heat and let a new pod soak before use. Do not overfill, and keep the screen clean.
How it compares with similar kits
The table compares the Xlim 3 Ultra with three other kits we list, using figures from the product titles and listings.
| Kit | Power | Battery | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra | Up to 30W | 1500mAh | AED 140 |
| OXVA Xlim Pro 3 | Up to 30W | 1500mAh | AED 130 |
| Vaporesso Eco Nano Plus | 23W | 1400mAh | AED 120 |
| Vaporesso Luxe X3 | 45W | Not in title | AED 130 |
The Pro 3 costs AED 10 less for the same headline figures. The Eco Nano Plus costs AED 20 less and the Luxe X3 AED 10 less, with different features.
UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This is a refillable kit, so the nicotine strength depends on the liquid. Buy only from a licensed seller and keep the receipt. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price, delivery and final verdict
The Xlim 3 Ultra is listed at AED 140. Prices and stock change, so check the product page before you order.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 2.2-inch touch screen with themes | AED 10 more than the Pro 3 |
| Slide switch between MTL and RDL | Only 0.6 and 0.8 ohm pods listed |
| Smart variable wattage mode | Touch screen can scratch |
| 1500mAh battery, 5V/2A charging | 30W ceiling only |
Our verdict: the OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra is for buyers who want the touch screen, while the Pro 3 gives the same power for less.
