Isgo New York 8000 review: quick verdict and who it suits
The New York 8000 has a 15ml tank, a 650mAh rechargeable battery, Type-C charging, a mesh coil and a 360 degree adjustable airflow control.
It is sold in one strength, 5 percent nicotine, which is high and is the most important thing to understand before buying. At AED 40 it matches the Isgo Bar 10000 on price.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you are an adult nicotine user who already uses high-strength products, wants a smaller rechargeable disposable and likes to adjust the airflow.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you do not already use nicotine, if you want a lighter strength, or if you want a bigger puff rating. The Isgo Bar 10000 costs the same and lists 10,000 puffs.
Specifications and what is in the listing
The listing gives these details. The maker puff figure is approximately 8,000 and the e-liquid is 15ml at 5 percent nicotine. The battery is 650mAh and rechargeable, charging is Type-C, the coil is a mesh coil and the airflow control is 360 degree adjustable.
The listing does not give a charge time or describe a display or modes. Its ten flavours are Blue Raspberry Lemon, Cool Mint, Gold Blackberry, Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava, Lychee Mango, Mixed Berry Ice, Peach Blue Raspberry Ice, Raspberry Strawberry, Watermelon Kiwi Ice and White Grape Ice. It is offered as one piece or a box of 10. The puff count is a maker figure, not a measurement.
Isgo New York 8000 review: nicotine strength and airflow
The listing gives the strength as 5 percent, which is 50mg. Nicotine salt gives a smoother throat hit than freebase at the same strength, which is why it can feel mild while still delivering a large dose. 50mg is a high strength, and nicotine is addictive.
How does the 360 degree airflow control work?
The listing says the airflow is adjustable through 360 degrees, which lets you open or tighten the draw. It does not say how the adjustment is made. Our guide to choosing replacement coils and pods helps if you are weighing a refillable device instead.
Coil, battery and everyday use
A mesh coil is designed to give dense vapour and steady flavour as the liquid level drops. A 650mAh battery is smaller than the 850mAh cells in several devices we compare, though this device also holds less liquid.
A disposable holds a lithium battery and a large amount of liquid. When it is finished, dispose of it with care, keep it away from heat and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
How it compares with other disposables
The table compares this device with three other disposables we list, using only figures from their listings.
| Disposable | Puffs (maker claim) | Nicotine | Battery | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Isgo New York 8000 (this review) | About 8,000 | 5% (50mg) | 650mAh, Type-C | 40 |
| Isgo Bar 10000 | 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 650mAh, USB-C | 40 |
| Waka Nova 12000 | About 12,000 | 18mg (1.8%) | 850mAh, Type-C | 45 |
| Waka Sopro 10000 | Up to 10,000 | 50mg (5%) | 850mAh, USB-C | 45 |

UAE rules, nicotine strength and safe use
Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE fall under a national standard, which you can read about on the UAE.S 5030:2018 standard (MoIAT). This product contains nicotine, which is addictive. Rules on nicotine strength, flavours and device size for disposable products have changed over time and we cannot confirm every strength here. It is sold only in 50mg (5 percent), a high nicotine level, so confirm it is permitted before ordering. Rules can change, so confirm current limits with MOIAT rather than relying on any blog post.
The NHS says vaping is less harmful than smoking but not risk-free, and that it is not for people who do not smoke or for children. We sell only to adults aged 21 and over. Keep devices, pods, coils and liquids away from children and pets.
This post is general product information, not medical or legal advice, and we make no claim that vaping helps anyone quit smoking.
Price and value in AED (checked 15 October 2026)
On 15 October 2026 the product listing shows the Isgo New York 8000 at AED 40 for one piece and AED 350 for a box of 10 pieces. The price is the same across all ten flavours, and every option showed as in stock when we checked. Prices and stock can change, so the Isgo New York 8000 product page is the source to trust on the day you order.
The box works out at AED 35 per piece (AED 350 divided by 10). That is AED 5 less per device than buying singles, or AED 50 less across the box. Dividing the single-piece price by the maker figure, AED 40 for about 8,000 puffs comes to roughly 0.5 fils per claimed puff. That is a rough yardstick only, because the puff count is a maker claim. The Isgo Bar 10000 review covers a device at the same AED 40 single price with a higher claimed puff figure, so it is worth comparing the two.
Delivery terms and minimum order
The minimum order is AED 100, so one piece at AED 40 will not reach it alone. Three singles come to AED 120, and a box of 10 clears it. Delivery is free above AED 350 and a flat AED 30 applies below that. The box is priced at exactly AED 350, which sits on the line rather than above it, so check the delivery fee shown at checkout before you pay.
Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman orders are delivered in about 2 hours between 10am and 11pm, 7 days a week, and you can pay by cash, card or bank transfer. Other emirates are served by courier within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with cash on delivery or bank transfer. The full wording is on our delivery and payment terms page.
Who it suits and who should skip it
The listing gives enough detail to say who this device is built for and who it is not. The points below use listing facts only, not hands-on testing.
Adults who already use high-strength nicotine
The only strength offered is 5 percent (50mg) nicotine. That suits an adult who already uses nicotine at a high strength and is replacing a similar product. The listing describes the device as draw-activated with no buttons and no refilling, and it adds a 360 degree adjustable airflow control, which is the feature that sets it apart from the other Isgo disposable we review.
Shoppers who want choice of flavour
Ten flavours is a long list for a device at this price, and the box of 10 lets a buyer commit to one flavour at a lower per-piece cost. If you like to open or tighten the draw, the airflow control is the listed reason to pick this model over a fixed-airflow device.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you do not already use nicotine. Nicotine is addictive, and 50mg is a high dose for anyone new to it. Skip it if you want a lighter strength, because no other strength is offered. Skip it if you want the biggest puff rating for the money, since it has the lowest claimed puff figure in our comparison table. Shoppers who want a lighter 18mg option can read the Waka Nova 12000 review.
Format, flavours and running costs from the listing
The specification block on the listing is short. The maker puff figure is approximately 8,000, the liquid is 15ml at 5 percent nicotine, the battery is 650mAh and rechargeable, charging is by Type-C, the coil is a mesh coil and the airflow control is 360 degree adjustable. The listing gives no charge time and does not mention a display or selectable modes, so we do not describe any.
The ten flavours
The listing describes each flavour in a line. Cool Mint is a crisp, refreshing mint. Blue Raspberry Lemon blends sweet blue raspberry with lemon, and Gold Blackberry is a juicy blackberry with a hint of sweetness. Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava is a tropical mix, Lychee Mango pairs lychee with ripe mango, and Mixed Berry Ice is a berry medley with an icy finish. Peach Blue Raspberry Ice combines peach with blue raspberry and ice, Raspberry Strawberry is a sweet and tart pairing, Watermelon Kiwi Ice is watermelon and kiwi with a frosty twist, and White Grape Ice is a smooth white grape with an icy finish. These are maker descriptions from the product page, not tasting notes from us.
Single piece or box of 10
Every flavour is offered as one piece or a box of 10. A single piece suits a first try of a flavour, while the box suits someone who has settled on one and wants the lower per-piece price. Each box is tied to one flavour, so check the flavour selector before you add it to the basket.
Running costs to keep in mind
Because the device is a sealed disposable, there are no coils or pods to buy later, and the listing says it cannot be refilled. The Type-C charging port means you can use a common cable. The how-to text on the listing mentions an included cable, but the specification block does not list one, so confirm what is in the box with our support team before you rely on it. Our guide to whether disposable vapes are rechargeable explains what a recharge does and does not change about a disposable.
What to check on the page before you order
A few minutes on the product page can save a wrong order. Work through this short list before you pay.
- Confirm the flavour and the pack size, one piece or box of 10, in the selector.
- Confirm the strength is 5 percent (50mg) and that this is what you intend to buy.
- Ask whether a charging cable is included, as the listing text is not consistent.
- Check the basket total against the AED 100 minimum order and the AED 350 free delivery line.
Electronic nicotine products in the UAE are covered by the technical standard UAE.S 5030:2018, and conformity is handled under the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS). We do not publish a certificate number for this product in the listing, so if you want proof of conformity, ask our support team before you order. For the official position, read the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) website, because rules on strength, flavours and device size can change.
Our shop sells to adults aged 21 and over only, and UAE law may set a higher age in some cases. Read how we handle this on the 21+ age verification page. To learn how to tell a genuine device from a copy, our guide on how to spot an original vape in Dubai lists what to look for.

| Ten flavours listed | Lowest puff figure in our comparison |
| 15ml tank and Type-C charging | No charge time in the listing |
| Priced at AED 40 | Puff figure is a maker claim, not a test |
Our verdict: the New York 8000 suits adult nicotine users who want a smaller rechargeable disposable with adjustable airflow and a wide flavour list and who understand what 50mg means. It has the lowest puff figure in our comparison. If you are new to nicotine, do not start.
